Vortex Optics launches Pro Cantilever Mount System
Vortex Optics has introduced its Pro Cantilever Mounts & Accessories range, a modular system designed to adapt a rifle to different optics without multiple adapters and workarounds.

Built in the USA, the Pro Cantilever system is intended to provide a common platform for configurations ranging from low-power variable optics (LPVOs) and back-up red dots to thermal clip-on devices and ballistic ranging equipment. Vortex says the components have been developed to work together, allowing users to tailor a set-up to changing roles and conditions.
The core Pro Cantilever Mounts are available in 30mm and 34mm versions, with 1.54in and 1.93in heights. The range is designed to accommodate conventional riflescope configurations, clip-on devices and night-vision-device-compatible set-ups. The mounts carry a minimum advertised price of $169.99 and an MSRP of $259.99.
Supporting accessories include the Pro Cantilever 45° Offset Red Dot Mount, which enables a shooter to add a close-range or back-up red dot alongside an LPVO or riflescope. It is compatible with red dots using the DeltaPoint Pro footprint and has a MAP of $59.99, with an MSRP of $89.99.
Vortex has also introduced Pro 12 O’Clock Red Dot Mounts in 30mm and 34mm sizes. These position a compatible DeltaPoint Pro-footprint red dot directly above the primary optic, intended to allow rapid engagement of close-range targets without the need to cant the rifle. MAP is $69.99 and MSRP is $104.99.
The Pro Diving Board Mounts, also available in 30mm and 34mm, add forward mounting space for red dots, infrared illuminators and equipment such as Vortex’s Impact 4000 Ballistic Rail-Mounted Laser Rangefinder. The accessory has a MAP of $79.99 and an MSRP of $119.99.
The Pro Diving Board and Pro 12 O’Clock Red Dot Mounts are compatible with the new Pro Riflescope Rings as well as the new Pro Cantilever Mounts. The 45° Offset Red Dot Mount is designed for use with the Pro Cantilever Mount family.
The launch reflects growing demand for rifles that can be reconfigured for both sporting and professional applications, with users increasingly combining primary optics with secondary aiming solutions, clip-on thermal systems and laser rangefinders.
Vortex says the system provides a more streamlined route to those multi-device configurations, while retaining a consistent mounting approach across its new Pro accessories and mounts. The complete range and compatibility information are available through Vortex Optics and its dealer network.
