Timney Triggers has appointed John Trull as its new CEO, bringing more than 25 years of shooting sports industry experience to the US trigger manufacturer.

Trull joins Timney following a career spanning operations, sales, marketing, product management and new product development. He previously spent 14 years at Remington Arms, holding senior leadership roles including director of product management and marketing, senior vice president of global sales and executive vice president and general manager of the company’s firearms division.

Timney said Trull’s background in both retail and commercial product development and sales will support the company’s expanding range of replacement triggers. The company also noted Trull is a lifelong hunter and shooter, bringing practical field and range experience to product decision-making.

Trull holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and an MBA with a concentration in finance from Wake Forest University.
