SHOT Show 2025 Reinforces Its Position as a Leading Firearm Industry Event

The 47th annual Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor Trade Show (SHOT Show®), owned and operated by NSSF®—The Firearm Industry Trade Association—wrapped up after four days of high energy, innovation and industry collaboration.

A Landmark Year for SHOT Show

This year’s show welcomed more than 54,000 industry professionals to The Venetian Expo and Caesars Forum, covering over 14 miles of exhibits. More than 2,850 exhibitors represented key sectors, including shooting, hunting, outdoor sports, law enforcement and security.

“The 2025 SHOT Show was a game-changer,” said Chris Dolnack, NSSF Senior Vice President and Chief Customer Officer. “From the groundbreaking products on display to the strong sense of community throughout the show floor, this year’s event set a new standard. It’s not just a trade show—it’s a celebration of the innovation, passion and resilience that define our industry. We’re incredibly proud of what we accomplished together this year and are already looking forward to next year.”

Industry Investment and Advocacy

Beyond being a showcase for the latest products, SHOT Show serves as a major contributor to the industry’s future. Revenue from the event supports NSSF’s advocacy, education and safety initiatives, including Project ChildSafe®, Operation Secure Store® and the +ONE® mentoring programme.

“By attending or exhibiting at the SHOT Show, you’re not just participating in an event—you’re investing in the future of our industry, ensuring safety, access and opportunity for generations to come,” said NSSF President and CEO Joe Bartozzi. “We are deeply grateful for the support of everyone who makes this possible.”

Strong Reactions from Exhibitors

Industry leaders praised SHOT Show 2025 for delivering key networking opportunities and driving business growth.

“SHOT Show now more than ever is the go-to event for businesses in the firearm industry. From innovation to collaboration, SHOT Show continues to deliver,” said Adam Ruonala, Vice President of Business Development and Marketing at Century Arms and Canik USA.

“The volume of industry interest we received over the last four days was incredible. A big thank you to the SHOT staff for all the assistance in making our debut a successful entry into the marketplace. We are already looking forward to planning for 2026,” said Jeremy Rider, Vice President at Cross Point Gear.

“SHOT Show is more than a trade show; it's a gathering of friends from a dedicated community, all committed, like Black Rifle Coffee, to supporting and honoring those who protect our freedoms,” said Mat Best, Co-founder of Black Rifle Coffee Company.

Government Engagement and Industry Impact

This year’s show also saw a strong presence from government officials, fostering engagement between policymakers and the firearm industry. The 4th Annual Governors’ Forum, attended by six governors, highlighted the economic significance of the $8.9 billion firearm industry, which supports over 384,000 jobs and has a total economic impact exceeding $90.1 billion.

The Attorneys General Forum, now in its second year, facilitated discussions on regulatory challenges and industry-government collaboration.

“The SHOT Show is fantastic, and each time that I come I just get amazed. It's really, really important to stand up for what we believe in—the Second Amendment. It's a big, big deal,” said Nebraska Governor Jim Pillen.

Expanding Education and Business Opportunities

Education remained a core focus, with SHOT University™, the Law Enforcement Education Programme (LEEP) and Export Training Sessions providing valuable in-person learning. Topics covered compliance, marketing, training and operational strategies for retailers, shooting range operators and exporters.

The SHOT Week Supplier Showcase connected over 600 OEM third-party suppliers with manufacturers to streamline the supply chain, while the SHOT Show eXtra Pavilion and Archery Business Pavilion provided new opportunities for emerging exhibitors.

Honouring Industry Leaders

Three industry figures were inducted into the NSSF Hall of Fame: Robert Delfay, Richard Hammett and Arthur Wheaton.

Additionally, the Ken Sedlecky Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Jeff Reh, who dedicated four decades to Beretta USA Corp. and served over 20 years on the NSSF Board of Governors.

Commitment to Safety

NSSF’s Project ChildSafe, Have a Brave Conversation and Gun Storage Check Week™ were prominently featured, promoting firearm safety and responsible ownership. A suicide prevention panel, in collaboration with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, The Armory Project and The American Legion’s Be The One programme, highlighted secure firearm storage and mental health awareness initiatives.

SHOT Week Highlights

As part of SHOT Week, the NSSF/Honored American Veterans Afield (HAVA) Golf Classic raised support for veterans, while Industry Day at the Range™ provided media and buyers with an exclusive hands-on preview of new products. This year’s event featured over 135 exhibitors and a record-high 2,350 attendees.

Looking Ahead

With another record-breaking event in the books, the industry is already looking forward to the 48th SHOT Show, set to return to Las Vegas from January 20-23, 2026.
