New Crossfire HD riflescopes: built for the hunt, ready for the shot

Vortex Optics has introduced its new Crossfire HD line of riflescopes, a complete refresh designed to deliver clarity, reliability and versatility across a wide range of hunting applications.

From rimfire and scout rifles to muzzleloaders and straight-wall cartridges, the Crossfire HD series aims to provide hunters with optics that combine practical performance with simplicity.

The standout upgrade across the line is the incorporation of HD glass, which delivers greater light transmission and improved resolution. This enhancement is particularly valuable in low-light conditions, when game movement is at its peak. Select models now also feature illuminated reticles, providing additional accuracy and contrast at dawn, dusk or in shadowed environments.

To further adapt to field conditions, Vortex has added side parallax adjustment options on certain models. This allows hunters to fine-tune their sight picture with ease, helping ensure precision when it matters most.

The Crossfire HD line includes a wide range of configurations tailored to specific hunting styles. Among the highlights are:

  • Crossfire HD 1-4x24 with illuminated Dead-Hold 2A BDC MOA reticle (MAP: $239.99 | MSRP: $339.99)
  • Crossfire HD 1.5-5.5x32 Scout with illuminated Dead-Hold 2A BDC MOA reticle (MAP: $219.99 | MSRP: $319.99)
  • Crossfire HD 2-7x32 in V-Plex MOA, Rimfire MOA, and illuminated Dead-Hold 2A BDC MOA variants (MAP starting at $159.99 | MSRP: $229.99–$269.99)
  • Crossfire HD 3-9x40 series, available in Dead-Hold BDC, V-Plex MOA, Straight-Wall BDC MOA, and Muzzleloader BDC MOA models, with illuminated options also offered (MAP from $179.99 | MSRP up to $319.99)
  • Crossfire HD 4-12x44 options including Dead-Hold BDC, WideRange Plex MOA, and illuminated versions (MAP from $199.99 | MSRP up to $339.99)
  • Crossfire HD 6-18x50 WideRange Plex MOA and illuminated Dead-Hold 2A BDC MOA (MAP: $259.99–$299.99 | MSRP: $369.99–$429.99)

For faster magnification changes, Vortex has also introduced a new 44 mm Throw Lever (MAP: $29.99 | MSRP: $39.99), compatible with all Crossfire HD riflescopes except the Scout model.

Vortex describes the new series as striking a balance between simplicity and performance, positioning it as an optic hunters can depend on season after season. Backed by the company’s commitment to customer service and its presence across major hunting markets, the Crossfire HD line reflects Vortex’s ongoing effort to make advanced optics accessible to a wide range of users.
