ZEISS Consumer Products reveals head of marketing
ZEISS is happy to announce the addition of Brian Immel as head of marketing, Consumer Products. Immel joined the ZEISS team in November and will be responsible for the marketing and brand management of Zeiss optical products for the hunting, nature, photography and cinematography categories.
Immel has extensive marketing experience building venerable brands across multiple consumer products industries. Most recently, Immel worked as vice-president of global marketing for the Cycling Sports Group, with oversight of the Cannondale and GT brands. Prior to that, he held major marketing and brand management roles with General Mills, Pepperidge Farm and The Hartford Financial Services Group.
“The ZEISS team could not be more thrilled to have Brian as a new member of the organisation,” said Robert Pignataro, general manager of ZEISS Group. “Brian has extensive experience developing marketing strategies for premium brands and we look forward to him building awareness of ZEISS Consumer Products and partnering with our online and retailer partners to drive growth.”
“I am excited to have joined the ZEISS organisation,” said Immel. “ZEISS offers extremely high-quality products across a range of categories that all demand precise and reliable performance. I look forward to working with the team and having the opportunity to drive growth across an impressive line-up of products under such an iconic brand.”
