Your Guide to the 2020 SHOT Show

For those of you who have been living underground for the past 41 years, America’s SHOT Show – short for Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor Trade Show – takes place each January in the party city of Las Vegas.

The show, owned by the NSSF (National Shooting Sports Foundation), attracts around 60,000 trade-only visitors, who can enjoy roaming the vast halls looking for new products to stock and meeting with partners new and old.

Retailer Seminars run throughout the SHOT Show, giving you flexibility to mix each day with education and exhibits. Last year, more than 90 per cent of Retailer Seminars sold out early. Pre-registration is required and available on a first-come, first-served basis to attendees registered as retail or range operations.

Exhibitor Academy

It’s two-and-a -alf days of learning how to improve your SHOT Show experience, increase your ROI (return on investment), and get the most out of your exhibit. And, it’s free! The National Shooting Sports Foundation, producers of the SHOT Show, along with its hotel and contractor partners, will be providing all your needs from the moment you touch down in Las Vegas until the Academy concludes.

SHOT Show will provide hotel rooms, transportation to and from the Sands Expo if needed, two breakfasts, two lunches and receptions. All you need to pay for is airfare to Las Vegas. The NSSF is committed to making the SHOT Show run as smoothly as possible for you but there are a few things you can do to help out, as NSSF senior vice president and chief marketing officer Chris Dolnack explains: “As a SHOT Show exhibitor, we know you have a lot invested in the show and we want you to get the most out of that investment. To do that we need you to input accurate and up-to-date information during registration for all people attending the show, including real first and last names, unique email addresses, correct job titles,and accurate cell phone numbers.

“The SHOT Show provides a networking and lead-generation opportunity like no other for our industry and that just can't happen without accurate and up-to-date information for all people attending the show,” continues Chris.

“Having valid and unique information — including job titles — for your registrants will ensure your company’s ability to connect with potential customers and vice-versa.

“We want to make your registration process as seamless as possible and providing accurate information this year will make your future registrations a breeze. The information you input during registration this year will pre-populate in the future, making your registrations quicker and easier.
