UK-based company Edgar Brothers has appointed Robert Dunlea-Jones from Cheshire as their new field sales manager for northern England and Scotland.
Rob joins Edgar Brothers from a sales management background and has experience in target rifle, clay and game shooting and is also highly experienced in ammunition re-loading. Shooting from the age of 13, Rob applied for his first FAC at 14-years old. As someone passionate about shooting sports, Rob has competed in county and regional .22 precision rifle competitions and enjoys nothing more than a day’s deer stalking. Following a long career in the military, Rob continues to serve as a Major in the Queens Own Yeomanry reserves.
Within his new role, Rob will be responsible for managing Edgar Brothers’ trade accounts in northern England and Scotland, visiting accounts and developing relationships with dealers. Working in partnership with the Edgar Brothers’ sales desk, Rob will be the key point of contact for his accounts to place orders, arrange product viewings or help answer any product-related questions.
Discussing his new appointment, Rob commented: “My role is to maintain professional business relationships with our clients, to be that honest and genuine person people can trust to provide accurate information. I want to develop a good rapport with my accounts that will continue business relations with Edgar Brothers for another 70 plus years.”
